What is the process to apply to the MACHI program?
All applicants to the Rice University MACHI program are first vetted by the following universities:
National Taiwan University - Contact jeffreyhuang[at]ntu.edu.tw
National Taiwan Normal University - Contact hliu[at]ntnu.edu.tw
National Chung Hsing University
Feng Chia University
This is a two step process.
1) These above universities first vet and select students. The students selected will then be guided to submit their applications to the MACHI program at the Smalley-Curl Institute (SCI) of Rice University.
2) A committee at Rice University: Smalley-Curl Institute will then review the applications and pick the final candidates for the program.
